About Dancing With The Stars
Dancing with the Stars is an annual dance competition in Kincardine to raise funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Bruce North Huron.

Just like the TV show, Dancing with the Stars pairs seasoned dancers with community ‘celebrities’ who have little or no dance experience.
You might even recognize some of them as your friends, neighbours or colleagues.

History & BBBS
Dancing with the Stars debuted in 2019 as a major fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Bruce North Huron.
Plans for a 2020 event were unfortunately postponed due to Covid-19.

Since 2021, the event has been transitioned to a combined in-person/virtual event, where the performances are livestreamed to viewers at home.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada is a Federation comprised of 108 member agencies servicing more than 1,100 communities across the country. Together we mobilize over 21,300 volunteers who in turn mentor 41,700+ children and young people.
Our chapter at South Bruce North Huron provides direct service to children by matching volunteers and youths in mentoring relationships.

Our Mission: Enable life-changing mentoring relationships to ignite the power and potential of young people.
The Pavilion
In 1922, George Conley, a local architect and builder had the idea for a Pavilion. It was ‘officially’ opened during the 1923 Old Boys and Girls Reunion and for many years, the Dance hall was touted as having the best dance floor along the shores of Lake Huron.
Dancing with the Stars is held annually at the Kincardine Pavilion. It is also live-streamed so you can enjoy the same entertainment from anywhere in the world!
As a non-profit entity, the Pavilions Volunteer Board of Director’s ensures that all events hosted and held at the Pavilion provide financial stability to ensure the viability and the future of the Kincardine Pavilion both as a historic and cherished venue.
